Casual Event Assistants: Enlightened
We’re looking for Casual Hylands Events Assistants to support Enlightened, our annual winter light trail, running from 26 November 2026 to 2 January 2027. You’ll help welcome and direct visitors, keep an eye on installations and support the safe running of the event alongside the Enlightened and Hylands teams. The role is casual, including some weekends and bank holidays.
Volunteer with the Friends of Hylands House
The Friends of Hylands House charity is looking for a volunteer to help keep their new website up to date.
The charity raises funds for the preservation and the improvement of Hylands House and Hylands Park. Recent projects include the Hanbury Memorial Garden, the refurbishment of the Terrace Room and the development of the Hylands House historical book.
The role would involve uploading new photos, news of upcoming events, any personnel changes on the committee, updating with any activities, and pulling any relevant reports from the system.
The website is easy to use and we would give some basic training. They estimate it would take a couple hours a month. View their website here.
