We’re looking for an Events and Weddings Executive to join the team at Hylands Estate! In this role, you’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact from initial enquiry through to event delivery.
This is a varied role within a busy events environment, ideal for someone with experience in event coordination or a customer-focused role. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple events at once.
Flexibility is required, including occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Interviews are currently scheduled for the week commencing 18 May. Please note that this vacancy may close early if sufficient applications are received.
The Friends of Hylands House charity is looking for a volunteer to help keep their new website up to date.
The charity raises funds for the preservation and the improvement of Hylands House and Hylands Park. Recent projects include the Hanbury Memorial Garden, the refurbishment of the Terrace Room and the development of the Hylands House historical book.
The role would involve uploading new photos, news of upcoming events, any personnel changes on the committee, updating with any activities, and pulling any relevant reports from the system.
The website is easy to use and we would give some basic training. They estimate it would take a couple hours a month. View their website here.
