Car Parking Proposal

You can find the latest information about Hylands parking plans on the Chelmsford City Council website:

Under the proposals, a number of groups will not have to pay parking charges. This includes volunteers, such as the Friends of Hylands House working in the book shop, and park volunteers; Hylands Estate tenants and catering concessions; and those already paying to hire Hylands House or the park, including weddings. Organised groups using Hylands for activities directly associated with mental health or disability support, Blue Badge holders, and anyone receiving council tax support would also be eligible for free parking.
