Enlightened is a yearly winter light trail, which takes place through Hylands Park. For 2025, this is running from 27 November to 3 January 2026.
We are seeking temporary staff to work out on the Enlightened trail, directing visitors, watching over installations, and ensuring the safety of all those visiting Enlightened, alongside the Enlightened team and management.
The successful applicant will be required to work on a casual basis which will include weekends, and bank holidays during the run (excluding Christmas day and Boxing day).
The Friends of Hylands House charity is looking for a volunteer to help keep their new website up to date.
The charity raises funds for the preservation and the improvement of Hylands House and Hylands Park. Recent projects include the Hanbury Memorial Garden, the refurbishment of the Terrace Room and the development of the Hylands House historical book.
The role would involve uploading new photos, news of upcoming events, any personnel changes on the committee, updating with any activities, and pulling any relevant reports from the system.
The website is easy to use and we would give some basic training. They estimate it would take a couple hours a month. View their website here.
