We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to support the efficient, safe and proactive upkeep of all Hylands event buildings and infrastructure. The successful applicant will carry out day-to-day repairs, planned and reactive maintenance tasks, compliance checks and routine inspections, ensuring all venues meet regulatory standards and remain fit for purpose. Working closely with Hylands Management and Building Services colleagues, the successful applicant will help reduce reliance on external contractors, supervise on-site works, respond to urgent maintenance issues and maintain the estate’s reputation for exceptional presentation.
The Friends of Hylands House charity is looking for a volunteer to help keep their new website up to date.
The charity raises funds for the preservation and the improvement of Hylands House and Hylands Park. Recent projects include the Hanbury Memorial Garden, the refurbishment of the Terrace Room and the development of the Hylands House historical book.
The role would involve uploading new photos, news of upcoming events, any personnel changes on the committee, updating with any activities, and pulling any relevant reports from the system.
The website is easy to use and we would give some basic training. They estimate it would take a couple hours a month. View their website here.
