This 4 week course runs Saturdays from your chosen start date (1 November or 10 January). It’s suitable for beginners and those wanting to refresh their sewing skills.
In these 2 hour workshops you will learn how to use your sewing machine’s functions to make a different item each week.
- Week 1: Cushion – learn to use a pattern while creating your own cushion.
- Week 2: Tote Bag – look at measurements and different construction techniques while making your tote bag.
- Week 3: Cosmetic Bag – learn how to attach zips and birth your cosmetic bag.
- Week 4: Apron – learn how to conceal raw edges by attaching bias binding to your apron.
Sue will contact you once you have booked to discuss fabric requirements for each week of the course.
All groups are kept small with a maximum of 4 people and take place within Sue’s cosy studio within the grounds of Hylands Estate.
