This Open Estate Day falls on Squirrel Appreciation Day! To embrace the nature theme, we will be welcoming our Forest School to run some of the activities taking place.
Find them in the Terrace Room to make your own leaf art squirrel, using natural materials from our beautiful park. There will be a wildlife scavenger hunt taking place in the Banqueting Room and Grand Staircase. The Forest School will also be running a competition to win free Forest School sessions.
Join us in the Drawing Room for storytelling by Mike Dodsworth at 10:30am 11:30am, 12:30pm and 2pm in the Drawing Room.

This month our volunteers will be running two tours of Hylands House! The morning one begins at 10am and the afternoon tour starts at 1pm. Meet them at the welcome table just inside the front doors.
Food & Craft Market
Urban Food Fest are back, bringing together a fantastic selection of outdoor traders and vendors again for the street food and craft market outside of Hylands House.

The Stables
Our resident artists throw open their studio doors and welcome you to see into their working spaces – explore upstairs as well as downstairs!
Hot Box Live provide the tunes with live music inside The Stables. Enjoy the sounds of the Zak Barrett Trio from 11am, followed by Katy for Kings at 1pm.
Visit the Stables Information Point and pick up your handset to explore the Pleasure Gardens in a brand-new way! Our History & Gardens Tour will be available for you to hire or scan the QR code and listen along with our new tour about the Estate and how it came to be.
Our popular new café The Deli will be open at the Stables all day! Open daily 8am to 4pm.
