Spend a fun day learning a new skill and creating your own beautiful stained glass Christmas decorations. The day runs from 10-5pm and starts with Mona teaching you how to cut glass safely. Then, having picked your patterns and the glass you want to use, Mona will guide you through the cutting, copper foiling and soldering processes, so by the end of the day you will take home heirloom decorations which you will enjoy every Christmas.

Lunch is not provided, but across the courtyard we have The Deli café which offers workshop attendees a 20% discount. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron as working with glass is fun, but messy.

You won’t have to pay for parking as you are attending a workshop. Just come straight to the studio on the day with your car registration and Mona will get you put on the system for free.

Please Note: Stained glass is a traditional craft. You will be handling and cutting glass as well as using glass grinders. After applying copper foil to all your glass pieces, you will use a soldering iron, liquid flux and solder to join the pieces together. Latex gloves are provided to prevent you touching the flux and solder. If you have any health issues which may be exacerbated by working with these materials, please contact Mona to discuss this further.
