A brand-new Halloween experience is set to terrify and delight visitors this autumn as Hylands Fear Fest makes its debut!

This immersive series promises spine-tingling thrills, family-friendly fun, and an unforgettable seasonal atmosphere.

Running nightly from Friday 16 October to Sunday 1 November, Hylands Fear Fest will transform Hylands into a chilling Halloween playground, featuring two distinct experiences designed for different audiences.

Tickets go on sale from 1 June 2026, but you can sign up for pre-sale now.

Fear Fest Extreme (ages 15+)

Step into the darkness at Fear Fest Extreme, a high-intensity outdoor scare experience set within the haunting grounds of Hylands Estate. Designed for thrill-seekers, this adrenaline-fuelled event throws you into a nightmarish world of roaming live actors, immersive sets, spine-chilling soundscapes and unexpected encounters lurking around every corner. As you navigate through shadowy pathways and twisted environments, the line between fiction and reality begins to blur, delivering relentless scares and heart-racing moments from start to finish. This is Halloween without limits — bold, terrifying, and not for the faint-hearted.

Fear Fest Spooky Trail (ages 7+)

The Fear Fest Spooky Trail is a fun-filled Halloween adventure perfect for families looking to enjoy a touch of mischief and magic together. Winding through the gardens of Hylands Estate, this immersive trail brings the spirit of Halloween to life with playful ghouls, friendly characters, interactive moments and gently spooky surprises along the way. With plenty of laughs, light thrills and seasonal charm, it’s the ideal introduction to Halloween for younger visitors. The experience finishes with a lively fairground and a selection of delicious treats and drinks available to purchase, making it a memorable evening for all ages.
