Suitable for people with some experience of sewing to experienced sewers, on this one day course you have a choice of three different designs of handbags to make.
The course will begin with learning pattern placement and cutting out your chosen bag. You will work from prepared patterns, there is a choice of three bag designs and you will be able to choose from a wide range of laminated cotton and faux leather to create your own bespoke bag.
There is a maximum of 4 people on this workshop, by keeping the groups small this allows to be able to give everyone plenty of help.
All fabrics and hardware will be included, as will refreshments through out the day. Lunch is not included however you will receive a 20% discount at The Deli (based within the Stables).
You will learn:
- Working with faux leathers and laminated cottons
- Pattern placement and cutting
- Adding Zips
- Applying bag handwear
- Using a rivet press
- Making straps

This groups runs from 10.00am-4.00pm
