

This 4 week course runs Saturdays from 26 September to 1 October. It’s suitable for beginners and those wanting to refresh their sewing skills.
In these 2 hour workshops you will learn how to use your sewing machine’s functions to make a different item each week.
- Week 1: Cushion – learn to use a pattern while creating your own cushion.
- Week 2: Tote Bag – we will look at measurements and different construction techniques while making your tote bag.
- Week 3: Cosmetic Bag – this week you will learn how to attach zips and birth your cosmetic bag.
- Week 4: Apron/bunting – We will use thicker fabrics and learn different sewing techniques while sewing our aprons/bunting.
Sue will contact you once you have booked to discuss fabric requirements for each week of the course.
All groups are kept small with a maximum of 4 people and take place within Sue’s cosy studio within the grounds of Hylands Estate.
