Hylands House opens its doors to reveal the secrets behind its history with an exhibition displayed in the library – this month’s exhibition is ‘Events Throughout the Years on the Estate’.
The Stables, home to a vibrant community of artists, designers, and makers, will be open for exploring and live music will be on throughout the day in the courtyard. Discover unique handmade pieces available to purchase, or get creative yourself and book one of our experiences or workshops.
Mike Dodsworth is back with his popular storytelling sessions. Meet him in the Drawing Room at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm. Explore Hylands House with the guidance of one of our volunteer tour guides at 10am. This month, these events will have a BSL interpreter in celebration of International Day of Sign Language. Find out more in the video below.
Live music will be playing at The Stables throughout the day, thanks to Hot Box Live.
Be sure to come hungry, as Urban Food Fest will be joining us with delicious street food available just outside the house. There will also be handmade gifts and freshly baked goods for sale from local traders.
Hawthorn Heavy Horses will be providing estate carriage rides throughout the day. For just £4 per person, you can enjoy a short ride around Hylands. Ten minute rides will be running from 11am and 3pm. Find out more on the Hawthorn Heavy Horses website.
