Then\, having picked your pattern and the glass you want to use\, Mona will guide you through the cutting\, copper-foiling and soldering processes so by the end of the day you have made a beautiful stained glass creation. \nLunch is not provided\, but across the courtyard we have The Deli café which offers workshop attendees a 20% discount \nPlease wear old clothes or bring an apron as working with glass is fun but messy. \nYou won’t have to pay for parking as you are attending a workshop. Just come straight to the studio on the day with your car registration and Mona will get you put on the system for free. \nPlease Note: Stained glass is a traditional craft. You will be handling and cutting glass as well as using glass grinders. After applying copperfoil to all your glass pieces you will use a soldering iron\, liquid flux and solder to join the pieces together. Mona will provide latex gloves to prevent you touching the flux and solder. SUMMARY:Christmas Stained Glass Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Spend a fun day learning a new skill and creating your own beautiful stained glass Christmas decorations. The day runs from 10-5pm and starts with Mona teaching you how to cut glass safely. Then having picked your patterns and the glass you want to use\, Mona will guide you through the cutting\, copperfoiling and soldering processes so by the end of the day you will take home heirloom decorations which you will enjoy every Christmas. \nLunch is not provided\, but our on-site cafe The Deli offers workshop attendees a 20% discount. \nPlease wear old clothes or bring an apron as working with glass is fun but messy. \nParking is free as you are attending a workshop. Just bring your car registration to the studio on the day and Mona will get you put on the system for free. \nPlease Note: Stained glass is a traditional craft. You will be handling and cutting glass as well as using glass grinders. After applying copperfoil to all your glass pieces you will use a soldering iron\, liquid flux and solder to join the pieces together. Mona provides latex gloves to prevent you touching the flux and solder. If you have any health issues which may be exacerbated by working with these materials\, please contact Mona to discuss this further.
